The Five Steps to Achieving Any Goal

When it comes to getting things done, I’m in. 200%. Presentation: yes; workshop: yes; speech: yes; website: yes! And yes!

“Getting things done” is my second nature

“Getting things done” is my second nature (first is another interesting topic to discuss), and I knew that building my own website should not be a super difficult task (if only I knew it wasn’t in the beginning).

Plan

The plan was ready. Choose the platform (easy), choose a template (a nice and fast one, please), set it up and start to create (most challenging), launch it and make it live (easy, two buttons;)

Choosing a platform and template was easy as I had some knowledge, and that brings us to the creativity part.

Write texts. Choose words. Create a brand. Choose a palette of colours. Choose fonts. I need photos! Choose a photographer. Find a place. Get the photo shoot done. Be a designer (the analytical part of myself was shouting, “I need MORE  information to make it RIGHT!”)

Do extra

And, in the middle of my work days, I decided to enrol in a new course to get myself more educated about B2C and service businesses and started to feel overwhelmed with knowledge. Not all of that was new, but there was still a lot to carry.

The best outcome from that was finding one more mentor. It is like seeing myself in the future. She encourages me to finish my website early and also challenges me to set up an email platform to use that is now saving me time. She reminds me to have fun on the way. (I did attend two warm parties with friends that led me to create more.)

“Talent. Hard work. Dedication. Structure. Kindness. Expertise. Knowledge. Greatness. Keeping up her word. That’s Nika Mak.

The journey

Getting things done should not only be about tasks and results at the end. We all should enjoy the journey we are given, and the people we are meeting and talking with. You can be an inspiration for others even if you are not aware of that. And it was me. Over the last 3 months, I have been told that I can inspire others by doing. (Thank you, Kyle.) By persevering through determination and consistency.

Getting things done as my second nature is giving me an opportunity to share my website with you and enjoy it together.

Mantras

“Better done than perfect” and “Start experiencing earlier to have more information to analyse” were my mantras to get it done. Of course, there will be mistakes, but that is not a problem. I know how to achieve any goal, and I’m happy to share with you my “The Five Steps to Achieving Any Goal” that I used, use and will be using in the future.

5 Simple Steps To Achieve Any Goal

It Only Takes 5 Simple Steps To Achieve Any Goal:

1. Deadline

Set an established deadline—backward-plan your goals. Set an achievable finish date and work backward from there. For example: if you want to do anything by the end of the month, you should break it down into daily goals. In this way, you may plan for both the near and far future, and make steady progress towards your final goal with each day’s success. Don’t forget to schedule time for self-improvement and vacations.

2. Calendar

Keep a calendar, and on the final day of each month, write down the goal you set for yourself for the next month. The next step is to document daily goals all the way to the end of the month.

3. One at a time

Take things one at a time; don’t try to accomplish too much in a single day. You’ll burn out quickly (faster then you think) if you pretend to be a department with a copywriter, PR manager, advertiser and to operate in all directions at once, such as a blog, forum, classified ad, group, article submission, toastmasters finance managing, etc. Do one or two tasks per day and check them off your list. Put a ‘V’ on the calendar on the days you’ve finished your assigned work.

4. Time limit

Establish a daily goal of one to two hours. You may gain momentum and improve your chances of success by restricting your daily time commitment to just one or two projects.

5. Consistency

Continue as planned; don’t deviate from your routine. Changing strategies too frequently might be counterproductive.

Having your goals down on paper can help you get closer to achieving them. More “V”s than “O”s at the end of the month will make you feel successful. If you follow the 5 Simple Steps to Achieving Any Goal, you’ll soon be far along your way to achieving the goals you set and feeling more confident in your capacity to succeed.

“More “V“s than “O“s at the end of the month will make you feel successful.”
